Course structure
Our physiotherapy degree progressively develops your clinical competencies over three years of intensive study, preparing you for independent practice. Instruction combines classroom learning at our welcoming Walsall campus with hands-on clinical placements in local healthcare settings. To meet professional registration standards with CSP and HCPC, students must complete at least 1,000 hours of supervised practical training throughout the program.

A minimum of three GCSEs at grade C4 or equivalent which must include an Englishbased subject Mathematics and Health and Social Care or Science subject Equivalent qualifications include Key Skills level 2 Learn Direct Level 2 and Functional Skills Level 2 Sciences at GCSE could include Biology Chemistry Physics Health and Social Care or Physical Education

120 UCAS points
A Levels BBB from three A Levels including a Science subject eg Biology Physics Chemistry Physical Education or Social Science eg Health Social Care Psychology Excluding General Studies Critical Thinking and Extended Project
T Levels Equivalent to 120 UCAS points in Health or Healthcare Science
BTEC QCF Extended National Diploma at a DDM or above in a Science based subject such as Sport and Exercise Science Health Science or Applied Science
Access to HE Diploma 60 credits of which a minimum of 45 must be at Level 3 120 UCAS point equivalence minimum 30 credits at distinction in Health or Science subject If applying with an Access course you only need GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade C4 or above or accepted equivalent You are not required to hold three GCSEs in total and GCSE Science is not required

IELTS - Overall Score of 6.0 with no component less than 5.5
TOEFL IBT - Overall Score of 60 with no component score less than 20.
