Your studies will be evenly divided between campus learning and practical placements.During your foundation year, you'll explore both general nursing concepts and adult-specific modules combining theoretical knowledge with clinical practice. The curriculum progressively shifts from broad fundamentals to specialized adult nursing content.Much of your training occurs in our simulation labs, allowing you to practice techniques in a controlled setting. We actively collaborate with healthcare recipients - individuals with lived experiences who help shape your education. They contribute to curriculum development and participate in teaching, such as having students perform clinical assessments like blood pressure checks.Clinical rotations involve caring for vulnerable populations including seniors and individuals with physical illnesses or disabilities.
