This interdisciplinary joint program offers an in-depth exploration of diverse themes in British, European, American, and Middle Eastern history and politics from the 1500s to modern times. You'll investigate cultural, political, social, and economic transformations while delving into specialized areas of historical debate. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, research methodologies, and information processing skills, all developed through engaging teaching approaches that combine conventional and digital learning methods. At the University of Wolverhampton, our History and Politics program fosters analytical skills to understand contemporary political systems and their historical roots from a global viewpoint. The course explores interconnected world histories, covering regions from Britain to South Asia, with thematic studies encompassing social class, gender dynamics, population movements, youth movements, political engagement, and colonial legacies. Prepare for Foundation Pathway:- We will consider applicants who have not achieved 48 UCAS points (equivalence) from prior level 3 qualifications, if you have a keen interest in this subject area or hold relevant experience. You will be required to attend and pass a compulsory Prepare For Foundation assessment day where you will take part in a variety of activities which will assess your suitability for the course.
