The Foundation year equips students for higher education. Completing this program successfully grants entry to our Art or Digital Media BA (Hons) or BDes (Hons) degrees, covering fields like Computer Games Design, Animation, and Film and Television Production. The initial semester focuses on developing core study skills, while the second semester offers specialized modules in Art and Digital Media disciplines.Our BA (Hons) Animation program teaches you to blend visuals with sound and timing to craft engaging screen experiences. You'll master: concept development, narrative techniques, storyboarding, scriptwriting, audio production, character creation, various animation methods (2D, 3D, stop-motion), film editing, and compositing. You'll have access to industry-standard tools like Adobe and Autodesk software (updated yearly), including Maya, Mudbox, TV Paint, After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro, alongside traditional materials like pencils and clay.Course Highlights
