Drawing from our strong commercial and professional connections in the property industry, this hands-on Master's program equips you to navigate and thrive in the dynamic real estate landscape – covering everything from valuation and assessment to strategic oversight of commercial and residential properties. Recognized by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the course offers a rigorous, engaging, and career-focused curriculum centered on real estate valuation, management, and development. Leveraging our industry ties, the program incorporates insights from top firms like Barratt Homes, British Land, Savills, and Cushman & Wakefield, whose professionals frequently train with us. You'll learn from experienced faculty who bring their expertise as surveyors and planners, gaining in-depth knowledge of property development and appraisal processes, including financial, legal, and social considerations. Additionally, you'll acquire cutting-edge management skills to execute projects effectively while addressing client needs and external challenges. Situated in central London, we host guest lectures from industry leaders and organize site visits, allowing you to observe real-world estate strategies and development projects from start to finish. A select group of students may also join an international study trip as part of the Development Finance and Funding module—past destinations included visits to Brookfield Properties and Cushman & Wakefield in New York (participants cover an additional fee of approximately £950). This program is ideal for graduates with some property background aiming for leadership roles in real estate development or management, though career changers with a passion for the field are also welcome. Many alumni secure positions with London-based property firms in valuation, development, or estate management, while others enter public-sector or housing association roles. **Careers** Real estate offers a fast-paced, well-compensated career path spanning commercial (industrial, office, retail) and residential sectors. RICS accreditation allows graduates to pursue the Professional Assessment of Competence after gaining relevant experience.
