Course overview In today's world, maintaining good health and wellbeing has emerged as a priority for governments, policymakers, and researchers as we confront complex 21st-century challenges. Careers in health and wellbeing represent expanding opportunities within our economy. Our program examines contemporary health and wellbeing issues through multiple perspectives, investigating comprehensive, system-wide, and community-driven approaches. Developing sustainable, evidence-based health policies and practices tailored to modern needs is crucial. Our curriculum emphasizes applying research and evaluation techniques to assess health and wellbeing strategies for individuals, communities, and populations. You'll examine various concepts such as social prescribing's societal impact, worldwide healthcare systems, health disparities, wellness promotion, resilience development, and professional leadership within the field. The program fosters innovative thinking to address challenges and critically evaluate current practices. You'll cultivate professional competencies to design and oversee research projects assessing integrated health approaches. We value and nurture student diversity, recognizing it as essential for preparing graduates to tackle varied health challenges. Upon graduation, you'll possess interpersonal abilities including leadership, mentoring, self-reflection, and supervision. A minimum of a lower second class honours degree (2:2) in a relevant discipline including health or allied health related subject, or in social care related subjects.
 
If your first language is not English, you should have an IELTS 6.5 with at least 6.5 in writing and no element below 6.0. TOEFL: 88 overall with a minimum of 17 in Listening, 21 in Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.
