An advisory board including representatives from Amnesty UK, Friends of the Earth, Save the Children, and other prominent organizations guarantees the program remains aligned with industry needs while offering an engaging educational journey. Select internship and placement opportunities will be offered. Ideal for individuals with background or passion for social justice, media, or nonprofit communications, this program enhances practical abilities while fostering theoretical knowledge about campaign strategies. Our faculty combines hands-on campaign experience with scholarly expertise in media and social movements. Co-directed by Michaela O'Brien and Dr. Anastasia Kavada, with contributions from industry experts and members of our prestigious Communication and Media Research Institute, the program is delivered at our central London and Harrow locations. It may also serve as a foundation for doctoral studies and academic careers in this expanding discipline.
A minimum of an upper second class honours degree (2:1) or a lower second class honours degree (2:2) and substantial relevant work experience. The Personal Statement must reflect the understanding of the course and how you will contribute. If your first language is not English you should have an IELTS 6.5 overall with at least 5.5 in all components. TOEFL iBT - 88 overall with a minimum of 17 in Listening, 21 in Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking.
