Recognized by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD), this specialized program delves into global human resource management (HRM). As businesses expand across borders and employees increasingly work internationally, effectively managing and developing talent has become both more vital and challenging. Our MA program equips you to navigate the distinct complexities of international HRM—addressing cultural, legal, and economic variations, as well as fostering remote professional relationships.Through our problem-centered teaching methodology, you'll tackle real-world HR scenarios in assignments and projects, often drawing from current events, case studies, and even fellow students' workplace challenges. You'll master evidence-based HR practices by gathering and interpreting data, honing your ability to assess situations and implement solutions—whether addressing expatriate employment, staff motivation, organizational transitions, or compensation strategies. Our yearly HRM conference connects you with industry experts who have discussed topics like immigration's effect on workforce availability and how Brexit reshaped EU employment regulations. Practical workshops further develop key HR skills in finance, labor law, recruitment, conflict resolution, and negotiation. Collaborative exercises might involve mock disciplinary proceedings or job assessment simulations, while people resourcing modules could include interview practice or assessment center participation. With full CIPD accreditation, this course suits both international students and those aiming to grow their HR careers in multinational settings. Graduates emerge prepared for Chartered Membership or Fellowship status and have secured roles as HR consultants, managers, compensation specialists, change management experts, business partners, operations leaders, government HR professionals, and workplace mediators.
