Our Foundation year programs provide a pathway to prepare you for undergraduate studies at the University of Westminster. Ideal if you're not quite ready for degree-level work, lack traditional qualifications, wish to switch subjects, or are returning to education after a break, these courses welcome diverse students to build their academic foundation before advancing to full honors degrees.
The Art and Design Foundation year introduces various creative disciplines while preparing you for specialized study. You'll discover fresh concepts and engage with important field discussions. The first term focuses on building core artistic skills and experimenting across different mediums. In the second term, you'll concentrate on your chosen specialization with guidance from program tutors. After successfully completing the Foundation year, you can progress to our three-year Photography BA Honors program.
