Our Foundation year degree programs provide a pathway to prepare students for undergraduate studies before advancing to a complete honors degree at the University of Westminster.
Whether you're not yet ready for university-level work, lack the necessary qualifications, wish to switch academic focus, or are returning to education after a break, we welcome diverse students to enroll in our Foundation year as a stepping stone toward their full honors degree.
The Art and Design foundation year serves as an introductory platform to our various subject areas while preparing students for their selected discipline. This program allows you to discover fresh concepts and gain new insights into key industry discussions. The first term focuses on building core Art and Design competencies through hands-on practice across all program disciplines. During the second term, students can concentrate on their preferred specialization with guidance from program tutors. Access to state-of-the-art facilities and instruction from renowned academics helps develop confident, innovative thinkers. Alongside practical training, both terms include modules covering essential academic skills crucial for progression to your chosen degree program.
