Our Foundation year programs provide a pathway to prepare students for undergraduate studies at the University of Westminster before advancing to complete degree programs.
Whether you're not yet ready for university-level work, lack formal qualifications, wish to switch academic focus, or are returning to education after a break, we welcome diverse students to join our Foundation year as a stepping stone toward their full bachelor's degree.
The Art and Design Foundation year serves as an introductory platform to our various creative disciplines, helping students prepare for their selected field. This program allows for creative exploration, offering fresh insights into current industry discussions. The first term focuses on building core artistic skills and hands-on experimentation across all Art and Design Foundation subjects. During the second term, students can concentrate on their preferred specialization with guidance from program tutors. Participants will have access to our advanced facilities and learn from distinguished educators who foster innovative thinking. Alongside practical training, both terms include essential academic skill development modules crucial for transitioning to full degree studies.
