If you're looking to launch a fresh career path, enhance your current expertise, or shift directions within the vibrant shipping sector, our MSc in Maritime Business Management equips you with the essential knowledge, abilities, and self-assurance to thrive.

Given that Greek-owned maritime enterprises account for 22% of global tonnage, projections indicate more than 100,000 upcoming job opportunities in major hubs like Athens, Dubai, Limassol, London, and Singapore where international maritime firms operate.

This is precisely where our maritime business management program, offered by the Hellenic Institute of Maritime Studies, makes its mark.

Combining maritime business theory with hands-on skills through real-world case studies and practical challenges, the curriculum emphasizes four crucial aspects:

career readiness: graduates gain competitive advantages in both local and global shipping markets, with connections to numerous UK shipping firms to support professional goals and provide an edge over newcomers to the field.
industry connections: our robust network brings maritime professionals as guest speakers, enriching students' learning experiences.
theoretical-practical integration: the program delivers both cutting-edge knowledge and applicable skills for international shipping operations.
specialization options: with dual pathways and diverse elective modules, participants can tailor their studies to specific areas of interest.
