Studying the variety and intricacy of living creatures and biological systems deepens our comprehension of life in its many manifestations. Biologists play a crucial role in advancing human well-being and environmental conservation. This field cultivates valuable analytical abilities, solution-finding techniques, and communication competencies, serving as an excellent foundation for diverse career paths. The BSc(Hons) Biological Sciences program focuses on implementing biological knowledge in practical scenarios. Through an immersive, experiential learning method, students gain numerous chances to develop their abilities in authentic settings. The curriculum provides extensive practical training opportunities, including placements, internships, field studies, and both domestic and international residential excursions.

GCSE: Grade C/4 or above in English Language or Literature, Mathematics and Double Science, or equivalent. We do not accept Level 2 Key Skills, Functional Skills or Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy as alternatives to GCSEs.
English Language Requirement: International and EU applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*).
