Product design thrives on innovation, encouraging professionals to push boundaries, defy norms, and craft remarkable products, services, and user experiences. The BA(Hons) Product Design program nurtures your creative potential. If you frequently observe everyday objects thinking "this could be significantly improved," this course will equip you with the necessary skills to make those enhancements.

Cultivate a deep, instinctive understanding of human behavior and our interactions with products. Master the principles of form, ergonomics, and material selection. Benefit from approachable instructors with substantial professional experience while working on diverse projects in our fully-equipped Design Studio. Acquire expertise in conceptual sketching, 3D modeling, effective communication techniques, prototyping, computer-aided design (CAD), and the commercial aspects of design.

GCSE: Grade C/4 in English Literature or Language and Mathematics, or equivalent. We do not accept Level 2 Key Skills, Functional Skills or Certificate in Adult Numeracy and Literacy as alternatives to GCSEs.
English Language Requirement: International and EU applicants are required to have a minimum overall IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with 5.5 in each component (or approved equivalent*).

A-level subjects: A2 in Art or Design and Technology.
EDEXCEL (BTEC) Diploma: You must be studying one of the following: Art and Design, Creative Media Production, Production Arts.

Access: 15 Level 3 credits at Merit in Art or Design and Technology.
Baccalaureate IB: To include a pass at Higher Level in Design Technology or Visual Arts.
Irish Highers: Higher Level in one of the following: Art or Design and Communication Graphics
T Levels: No specific subjects required.

TOEFL - Overall score of 80 or above, including a minimum of 17 in Listening and Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking, PTE - Overall score of 50 with at least 51 in each component (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking).
