The BA(Hons) Interior Architecture program explores every facet of interior architecture, encompassing psychological factors, social contexts, structural elements, furniture design, material selection, acoustics, and lighting. We cultivate highly skilled graduates with specialized expertise who can design innovative architectural spaces.
Reimagine and adapt existing structures for diverse purposes, extending these capabilities to temporary installations like theatrical sets and exhibition designs.
Develop creative problem-solving skills by drawing inspiration from various disciplines including art, cinema, scientific fields, and social sciences. Reinterpret environments, spatial concepts, and even abstract notions. Gain insights from instructors with professional experience while tackling real-world projects for developers, consulting firms, nonprofit organizations, and cultural establishments. Our alumni have contributed to projects at the Arnolfini contemporary art center and Ernst & Young, while proposing redesign concepts for a decommissioned TV production facility.
Program Length - Three years full-time, four years with placement year
