The UK's fashion textiles sector stands as the biggest among creative industries, with its designers and innovators earning worldwide acclaim for their expertise and originality. Modern fashion and textile designers are versatile creators, investigating fresh concepts and approaches that span all aspects of current cultural trends. The BA(Hons) Fashion Textiles program covers every facet of the field, from textile creation and design to fashion product development and manufacturing. Students will work on projects focusing on fashion design, textile creation, or forward-thinking textile innovations.
Through studio work, technical training, and digital skill-building—alongside essential pattern-cutting coursework—you'll learn to transform two-dimensional concepts into three-dimensional creations. Gain the abilities and creative mindset needed to examine and redefine fashion textiles' influence and purpose in today's world.
