Tailored for students aiming for an academic research career, this program provides hands-on lab experience through rotations in various research facilities, all focused on interconnected themes. The lab rotation system enables promising doctoral candidates to investigate diverse subjects within their field more extensively than conventional Master's programs typically allow.
During the course, you'll complete two placements where you'll actively participate in your chosen supervisor's research. Following this, a dedicated research project lets you apply your gained knowledge to develop your own specialized study area, with guidance from expert faculty. Potential research themes encompass:
Sensorimotor Control
Cognition and Emotion
Development of Language and Communication
Psychology and Policing
Driving and Attention
Sleep and Pain
You also have the flexibility to design your own research pathway based on our academic strengths.
