The Global Decarbonisation and Climate Change (GDCC) postgraduate programs represent a cross-disciplinary university effort addressing crucial climate crisis challenges. Students will examine both the drivers and impacts of climate change while evaluating innovative approaches to lowering worldwide carbon emissions.

The Policy track offers an in-depth understanding of climate action within real-world contexts, covering environmental policy frameworks, government strategy evaluation, and how regulations influence scientific methodologies. Alongside required coursework, students select at least two core-elective modules focusing on areas like equitable climate solutions, sustainable transitions, development-climate intersections, and eco-conscious product lifecycles. This pathway also allows for additional elective choices.

Designed for graduates from diverse fields including STEM, social sciences, business, and life sciences, the curriculum balances quantitative environmental data analysis with expanded knowledge of environmental governance systems.
