The Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Warwick provides an MPhil/PhD program in French Studies, mentored by globally recognized specialists. This program encourages a multidisciplinary exploration of French language and francophone cultures.
Develop an 80,000-word dissertation on your chosen subject under the guidance of one or more of our world-class academics. Ideal for high-achieving students with strong research capabilities and a well-defined focus for advanced study.
Prior to starting, you'll be paired with suitable supervisors. Throughout your studies, regular meetings will provide support for developing your research framework, methodology, and writing process, including feedback on drafts and professional development guidance.
Active involvement in the School's research community is expected, such as attending academic seminars, while also receiving tailored advice for skill enhancement and career growth.
