Our MMORSE program combines mathematical theory with real-world applications, featuring instruction from expert faculty across Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, and Warwick Business School.
The MORSE curriculum integrates mathematical principles with practical implementation, delivered by specialists from multiple departments. Your learning will involve lectures, intimate tutorial groups, and hands-on sessions in the Statistics Department's advanced computing lab.
Students can select complementary modules from other departments, such as Computer Science or the Language Centre. Certain courses are designed in collaboration with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, potentially qualifying you for exemptions from specific Actuarial Examinations.
The BSc and MMORSE programs share nearly identical first two years, allowing flexibility to adjust your degree path. Divergence occurs in later years, with our four-year MMORSE offering specialization options including: Actuarial and Financial Mathematics, Operational Research and Statistics, Econometrics and Mathematical Economics, or Statistics with Mathematics - culminating in a guided research project during your final year.
