The Classics and Ancient History Department at Warwick has developed this MA program to concentrate on Ancient Rome's history and material artifacts. Participants will travel to Rome in April and May for an immersive schedule of site tours and academic discussions.
Our MA programs in Ancient Rome's Visual and Material Culture offer comprehensive training in research methods, ideal for those pursuing advanced studies in art, coinage, or inscriptions, or examining historical subjects involving physical evidence. The program also delivers in-depth knowledge of ancient artifacts and visual culture, preparing students for careers in museum curation, education, or related fields.
For the Visual and Material Culture of Ancient Rome MA, a key module is delivered by the British School in Rome, specializing in Ancient Rome's historical and material heritage. Please be aware that enrollment is at the British School's discretion and cannot be assured by Warwick.
