This program explores key sociological themes like race, identity, ethnicity, and gender, connecting them to worldwide challenges such as economic disparity, influential elites, and food systems. Our interdisciplinary method encourages you to investigate subjects that spark your curiosity.
Sociology, which examines human societies, plays a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable tomorrow. All 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals contain social dimensions, making it essential to grasp how global commerce, economic expansion, and environmental shifts impact communities.
The neoliberal age has brought sweeping societal changes worldwide. Today's sociologists investigate whether modern social structures are inherently unsustainable, seeking fresh approaches to foster eco-friendly social-environmental dynamics.
Throughout this program, you'll merge sociological frameworks—covering race, identity, ethnicity, and gender—with analysis of pressing global concerns like economic divides, power concentrations, and nutritional access.
Global Sustainable Development studies demand a multifaceted viewpoint. You'll need to think innovatively and welcome diverse perspectives from international classmates. We'll push you to take charge of your educational journey.
Optional opportunities like internships, overseas study, and certification programs can further enrich your academic experience.
