Biological Sciences encompasses the comprehensive exploration of biology, examining everything from microscopic molecules to vast ecosystems. Among the four degree programs offered by the School of Life Sciences, this course provides the most extensive scope and flexibility in module selection. You'll delve into the fundamental building blocks of life—molecules and cells—before advancing to the study of organisms (including animals, plants, bacteria, and viruses) and populations (covering evolution, disease spread, and ecological systems).
Program Highlights
Our Biological Sciences curriculum covers the full spectrum of biological systems, from molecular interactions to ecosystem dynamics. With an exceptionally diverse selection of modules, you can tailor your studies to align with your passions and professional goals.
You'll engage with pioneering research in molecular, cellular, and organismal biology while addressing pressing global issues like environmental conservation, food sustainability, and public health. Academic and personal guidance is provided through our tutorial system, complemented by hands-on laboratory experience.
