Our BASc in Psychology and Global Sustainable Development (GSD) combines your interest in psychology with tackling today's most urgent global issues through interdisciplinary study.
What drives human thoughts, behaviors, and self-perception? How do these differ among individuals and cultures? Can deeper insights into human psychology contribute to building a sustainable future for everyone? This unique program encourages you to explore these questions through both disciplines.
With Warwick's Psychology Department, you'll examine biological, developmental, and social dimensions of psychology. Simultaneously, through the GSD Department, you'll investigate critical contemporary challenges like food/water security, gender equality, and climate change - all while analyzing connections between individual actions and worldwide problems.
The GSD curriculum adopts a transdisciplinary method, examining issues through multiple lenses. You'll develop creative thinking skills while engaging with diverse perspectives from international classmates. We encourage you to take charge of your educational journey.
Expand your learning through optional opportunities like work placements, international study programs, and additional certifications.
