For those passionate about political developments, legal discussions, and philosophical inquiries into human life, our Politics, Philosophy and Law (BA) program offers a chance to explore three interrelated fields that profoundly influence daily existence.
You'll gain from collaborating with globally respected scholars across three of the UK's top-ranked Social Science departments.
This interdisciplinary program examines how societies function, analyzing the frameworks and operations of political and legal institutions. The curriculum also deepens your grasp of the philosophical foundations underlying legal and political systems.
Potential study areas include principles like justice, liberty, ethics, and democratic governance, alongside examining how laws and policies are created and enforced globally. Beyond required courses in each field, the program offers considerable flexibility to select electives from these departments and others university-wide.
Students can apply for international study at partner institutions or pursue professional internship opportunities during their studies.
