This program offers a deep exploration of political systems while developing proficiency in French language and Francophone studies. Examine both theoretical frameworks and practical applications of political concepts, with particular attention to France's political landscape.
Core components include political theory, international relations, and intensive French language instruction. Through individual and group work, you'll enhance your research capabilities, analytical thinking, and presentation skills while achieving fluency in written and spoken French.
A mandatory year abroad in a Francophone nation, either for academic study or professional experience, forms an integral part of the curriculum, with flexibility to undertake this in your second or third year.
This combined program maintains an equal balance between Politics and Modern Languages (50:50), with the option to adjust this ratio to 75:25 in your final year. The four-year structure typically incorporates an international placement during the third year in a French-speaking region.

Specialization opportunities include:
Political philosophy
Governmental structures
Cross-national political analysis
French political systems
Francophone cultural studies
Global affairs
World economic systems
French literary works
French film studies
