This combined program allows you to study within both the Politics and Sociology departments, which share the same campus building and maintain close academic ties.
The interdisciplinary curriculum examines political and social concepts through both theoretical and practical lenses, demonstrating their influence on daily life. You'll analyze modern societies in the UK and globally from diverse political and sociological viewpoints.
The program fosters critical examination of contemporary issues while offering opportunities to specialize in areas like gender studies, racial dynamics, global relations, economic systems, media sociology, and development studies.
The degree maintains an equal balance between Politics and Sociology (50:50), with flexibility to adjust this ratio (75:25) during your final year.
