This degree centers on Political Theory, Comparative Politics, and Political Systems analysis, allowing you to either explore diverse modules or concentrate on specialized tracks.
You'll examine fundamental issues including power dynamics, various political systems' strengths and weaknesses, gender and racial dimensions in politics, and ideology's influence on political results. The program encourages critical analysis of political structures across nations and debates the optimal analytical scale—from individual actors to global frameworks.
The curriculum explores how political theorists' insights clarify governmental actions regarding economic policies, legislation, conflicts, and societal regulations. These concepts are then applied to contemporary challenges like migration, economic inequality, armed conflicts, and environmental crises.
Spanning three years, the program combines mandatory politics courses with customizable electives each year.
Elective modules fall under four specialization areas:
Political Philosophy and Governance
Global Affairs and Security Studies
Cross-National Politics and Democratic Transitions
Global Political Economics
You may focus on one specialization or combine courses from multiple tracks to align with your academic goals.
