Warwick's Applied Linguistics program provides a distinctive way to study language by using linguistic theories to tackle practical challenges. The Linguistics with Japanese (BA) degree helps you establish a multidisciplinary foundation based on cutting-edge research in language and communication. You'll then use this knowledge to investigate, question, comprehend, and resolve real-world issues with impactful solutions.
Combining linguistics with Japanese studies allows you to examine the remarkable human ability for language while achieving proficiency in Japanese. As a linguistics student, you'll gain insights into language structure, its societal roles, and how it functions in different contexts.
Your studies will include developing written and spoken Japanese skills while gaining expertise in cross-cultural communication.
