Warwick's Applied Linguistics program provides a distinctive way to examine language: we utilize linguistic expertise and theories to tackle practical challenges. In the Linguistics with French (BA) program, you'll establish an interdisciplinary foundation based on cutting-edge research in language and communication. You'll then use this knowledge to investigate, question, comprehend, and resolve issues while developing impactful solutions.
Combining linguistics with French studies allows you to investigate humanity's remarkable linguistic abilities while achieving proficiency in French. As a linguistics student, you'll examine language structure, functionality, and its connections to society.
Additionally, you'll develop written and spoken French skills while gaining insights into cross-cultural communication. Your linguistic analysis abilities will enhance your language acquisition, and your French knowledge will enrich your work as a linguist. This program prepares you for diverse career paths that demand both modern language proficiency and thorough understanding of language, culture, and communication.
