Our research pushes the boundaries of fundamental physics, spanning quantum information processing, quantum optics, and cold atom physics, alongside leading particle physics experiments and theoretical explorations of space, time, and matter. You'll receive expert guidance from field specialists throughout your research project. Join a globally connected department with partnerships across Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and Australia. We offer both PhD and MPhil study options. These degrees vary in duration and research scope: a PhD requires significant original contributions to your field, while an MPhil involves independent research with less extensive requirements, culminating in a Master of Philosophy degree. You may have the opportunity to upgrade from MPhil to PhD during your studies.
