Discover how media shapes daily experiences, political landscapes, and cultural expressions. You'll collaborate with knowledgeable faculty who will mentor and oversee your research journey. Become part of a vibrant academic community dedicated to thorough critical examinations and historical investigations of diverse media environments. We especially encourage research proposals focusing on: sociocultural examinations of media formats, organizations, and methodologies; media portrayals and audience interactions; marketing and consumer behavior; feminist, queer, and activist media scholarship; media evolution and conceptual frameworks; as well as visual, audio, and sonic cultural expressions. Cross-disciplinary supervision with other academic departments is available when suitable.

Subject-specific requirements
