The Master of Engineering (MEng) program allows you to tailor your studies through various specialization options while meeting the academic criteria for Chartered Engineer status. The optional industry placement year offers valuable hands-on experience, with continued support from the Sussex department throughout your professional immersion.

This program enables you to gain specialized robotics knowledge while developing mechanical engineering competencies, preparing you for diverse career paths including robotics design, autonomous vehicles, automation, mechatronics, and renewable energy sectors. Our curriculum is enriched by cutting-edge research in robotics, dynamics, space systems, and flexible electronics, ensuring you receive industry-relevant training.

You'll have access to our Future Technologies Labs, featuring advanced facilities for robot construction, embedded systems programming, and sophisticated computer-aided design. We do not routinely include the EPQ in the conditions of your offer but we sometimes offer alternative conditions that include the EPQ.
