The Master of Engineering (MEng) program allows you to tailor your studies through various specialization options while meeting the academic criteria for Chartered Engineer status.

Electrical and electronic engineering forms the foundation of modern life, powering innovations from sustainable energy solutions and self-driving vehicles to medical breakthroughs, intelligent robotics, and next-generation wireless networks. Our curriculum is enriched by cutting-edge research in sensor technology, flexible electronics, medical robotics, 5G infrastructure, and space systems.

You'll have access to our state-of-the-art Future Technologies Labs, featuring specialized facilities for robotics development, embedded system programming, digital signal processing, and advanced computer modeling. The program utilizes comprehensive electronics and control engineering laboratories, electrical drive systems, and offers opportunities to join competitive teams like Formula Student or Medical Robotics.

As you advance through the program, you'll concentrate on either electrical or electronic engineering, receiving expert instruction in diverse applications - from sensor development to hardware acceleration, and from semiconductor technology to eco-friendly transportation systems. Extended Project Qualification
We take the EPQ into account when considering your application and it can be useful in the summer when your results are released if you have narrowly missed the conditions of your offer. We do not routinely include the EPQ in the conditions of your offer but we sometimes offer alternative conditions that include the EPQ.
