Replacing the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL)/Common Professional Examination (CPE), this qualification concentrates on essential legal principles in England and Wales, establishing a strong base for either the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) preparation or Bar training.

Subject-specific requirements
Your qualification can be in any subject. If you have a non-UK degree and intend to qualify as a barrister, you should also have a certificate of academic standing from the Bar Standards Board.

IELTS (Academic) - Standard level (6.0 overall, including at least 5.5 in each component).
TOEFL (iBT) - 80 overall, including at least 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking, 17 in Writing.
