Earn your Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) in just 12 months through this postgraduate-level program.
The Early Years curriculum emphasizes these key areas:
defining excellence in Early Years education
promoting fairness, accessibility, and social justice for preschoolers and their families
developing communication skills, creativity, language proficiency, and support for multilingual children
foundations of early math and science learning
theories of emotional support, childcare, and bonding.
This MA program offers two pathways:
a work-based option for current Early Years practitioners
a placement track for those new to the field.
Employment-based students typically work at an Early Years facility within approximately 90 minutes of our campus. This allows for both on-campus learning and practical experience, while enabling university staff to provide placement support.
For graduate route participants, we aim to arrange placements within comparable travel distance. We encourage applications from individuals currently residing beyond the 90-minute radius.
