This program offers you the chance to specialize in robotics while honing your electrical and electronic engineering skills. The optional industry placement provides a practical way to gain professional engineering experience within a business environment. You'll contribute to designing innovative products and services that will influence tomorrow's society.

Our teaching is enriched by cutting-edge research in robotics, sensors, flexible electronics, medical technologies, dynamics, control systems, and space applications. You'll receive guidance from dedicated academic advisors and peer mentors throughout your studies.

Learning takes place in our state-of-the-art Future Technologies Labs, featuring specialized spaces for robot construction, embedded systems programming, digital signal processing, and computer-aided design. Facilities include an industrial robotic arm, autonomous vehicles, electronics workstations, a flexible manufacturing system, and real-time motion tracking technology.

You'll work with professional-grade equipment and complete an industry-driven capstone project in your final year. This comprehensive preparation equips you with the knowledge, practical abilities, and professional confidence to advance your career.

A-levels must include Mathematics, with at least grade B.

You should have a broad range of GCSEs grade 9-4 (A*-C), including good grades in relevant subjects.

Extended Project Qualification
We take the EPQ into account when considering your application and it can be useful in the summer when your results are released if you have narrowly missed the conditions of your offer. We do not routinely include the EPQ in the conditions of your offer but we sometimes offer alternative conditions that include the EPQ.
International Baccalaureate
Typical offer
30 -32 points overall from the full IB Diploma.

Subjects
Higher Levels must include Mathematics, with a grade of 5.

For entry, either Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches or Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation at Higher Level will be accepted.
IELTS- 6.0 overall, including at least 5.5 in each component
TOEFL IBT- 80 overall, including at least 17 in Listening, 18 in Reading, 20 in Speaking, 17 in Writing.
