Our world is in constant flux. PPE provides frameworks to comprehend our surroundings while equipping you with the tools and perspectives to create impact.

At Sussex, you'll be taught by specialists conducting groundbreaking research in global governance, international commerce, and European philosophical traditions. During your initial two years, you'll engage with all three disciplines:

Philosophy sharpens analytical thinking while examining concepts that define our perception of reality
Political Science offers understanding of governance structures and systems (both domestic and global)
Economics provides knowledge of fiscal policies and market dynamics.
In your third year, you'll focus on the two subjects that captivate you most.

Upon graduation, you'll possess refined research abilities, communication expertise, and analytical skills. You'll be prepared for:

careers in global corporations or international nonprofits
serving as a policy consultant
organizational leadership positions.
Practical Experience
During your final year, you can compete for prestigious internships either with Parliament members or within Brighton & Hove City Council's local administration.
