The program teaches economic analysis of real-world problems, covering topics like macroeconomic and microeconomic fundamentals, development processes, policy frameworks, and key development challenges.

The curriculum emphasizes colonialism's role in shaping contemporary development policies and examines influential development theorists. You'll analyze subjects including trade relations, global economic disparities, financial crises, and market systems. Quantitative skills are developed through mathematics, statistics, and econometrics coursework.

These options allow you to investigate practical development concerns encountered by professionals in the field.
