Drama, Theatre, and Performance at Sussex fosters both critical analysis and creative expression through a dynamic blend of academic study and hands-on experience.
In your theoretical studies, you'll investigate how social and political environments influence modern theatrical works.
Through practical coursework, you'll unlock your artistic abilities while honing skills in writing, directing, acting, and critical analysis. Our campus provides all necessary resources, including the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts - a venue showcasing professional theatre and dance productions from both national and international troupes.
The program includes excursions to Brighton theaters and beyond, along with masterclasses and lectures from working artists. Study abroad opportunities are also available.
