The American Studies program at Sussex adopts a multidisciplinary perspective to explore America. Through analyzing the history, government, arts, and traditions of a country that has profoundly influenced modern times, you'll gain deeper insights into contemporary global dynamics. Our English department presents an innovative curriculum that encourages fresh interpretations of literary works spanning ten centuries.

You'll be taught by one of the UK's most extensive teams of American Studies specialists.
