The night sky evokes a sense of boundless expanse, while modern space technology enables unprecedented exploration. Surrey has been at the cutting edge since the 1980s, when we first developed advanced micro-satellites. Today, our comprehensive program encompasses full satellite construction, mission design, collaboration with global launch providers, and orbital operations - maintaining our leadership in the space industry. With the Surrey Space Centre on campus and strategic alliances with Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd and Airbus, we're integral to the UK's thriving space sector.

Our MSc program equips you with specialized, interdisciplinary expertise for careers in space technology, offering hands-on involvement in spacecraft and payload development.

As the sole UK university handling complete space missions - from conceptualization to hardware production, testing, and orbital control via our dedicated ground station - we provide unique opportunities to engage with actual space missions that complement academic coursework.
