Explore the scientific study of human thought, emotions, and behavior in social settings through a curriculum that immerses you in psychological theories, methodologies, and evidence-based research. Investigate the historical and philosophical foundations of social psychology while utilizing our advanced facilities, featuring a six-room VR suite and two observation labs, to examine how we perceive ourselves and others, and how we influence interpersonal relationships. You'll investigate subjects like bias and discrimination, ethical decision-making, and emotional processes. The program explores how individuals and groups shape identities and examines psychology's role in social transformation, family dynamics, and personal relationships. Gain comprehensive knowledge of modern approaches and develop research competencies using innovative methodologies. You'll also learn both qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including statistical software applications, equipping you with essential skills for data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

Qualification Requirements

A minimum of a 2:2 UK honours degree in psychology, or a recognised international equivalent. We may be able to take relevant work experience into consideration if you don't meet these requirements. If you have at least one year of relevant experience in a full-time graduate-level role (or a minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant graduate-level part-time role) please provide full details of your role and responsibilities in your personal statement and CV when you submit your application. IELTS Academic: 7.0 overall with 6.5 in each element. TOEFL (ibt) - 95 overall with 23 in Reading, 23 in Listening, 22 in Speaking and 26 in Writing.
