The curriculum includes access to our Professional Training placements program, designed to equip students for careers across diverse technology-driven industries. From graphene applications to quantum engineering, our specialized courses provide the expertise required for contemporary nanoscale device development. Collaborative opportunities exist to engage with researchers at our Advanced Technology Institute through hands-on projects.

Students may enroll in either the BEng or MEng track, with the MEng program expanding upon the BEng foundation through an additional master's year. Flexibility exists to transition between degree pathways based on academic performance. State-of-the-art teaching laboratories and 24-hour accessible computer facilities with both Linux and Windows systems support all electrical and electronic engineering students.

Applicants taking the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass.

MEng (Hons):
AAB including Mathematics and one of: Physics, Electronics, Computing, Computer Science, Further Mathematics, Design and Technology (Systems and Control), Chemistry. If you are studying further mathematics then the offer would be reduced by one grade.
Applicants taking the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass.

BEng (Hons) with foundation year:
CCC including mathematics C and either physics or chemistry, or equivalent.
Applicants taking the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass.

Please note: A-level General Studies and A-level Critical Thinking are not accepted.
