Our pioneering BEng and MEng Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology programs enable you to implement advanced theoretical concepts to solve real-world engineering challenges. During your academic journey, you'll merge practical engineering competencies with scientific research techniques, preparing you for professional environments. The curriculum includes access to our Professional Training placements program, designed to equip students for careers across diverse technology-driven industries. From graphene applications to quantum engineering, our specialized courses provide the expertise required for contemporary nanoscale device development. Collaborative opportunities exist to engage with researchers at our Advanced Technology Institute through hands-on projects.
Students may enroll in either the BEng or MEng track, with the MEng program expanding upon the BEng foundation through an additional master's year. Flexibility exists to transition between degree pathways based on academic performance. State-of-the-art teaching laboratories and 24-hour accessible computer facilities with both Linux and Windows systems support all electrical and electronic engineering students.
Comprehensive career services are available to current students and remain accessible to graduates for three years post-completion. Our department maintains exceptional graduate employment statistics, with 90% of electrical and electronic engineering undergraduates securing employment or pursuing advanced studies (Graduate Outcomes 2023). The BEng/MEng in Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology not only opens doors to fulfilling career prospects but also presents a stimulating intellectual environment for groundbreaking research discoveries.
