Our pioneering BEng and MEng programs in Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology enable students to implement advanced theoretical concepts to solve real-world engineering challenges. During your academic journey, you'll merge practical engineering competencies with scientific research techniques, preparing you for professional environments. The program includes access to our Professional Training placements initiative, designed to equip students for careers across diverse technology-driven industries. From graphene applications to quantum engineering, our specialized curriculum provides the expertise required for contemporary nanoscale device development. Collaborative research opportunities with faculty at our Advanced Technology Institute are also available through project-based learning.
Students may enroll in either the BEng or MEng track, with the MEng program expanding upon the BEng foundation through an additional master's year. Flexibility exists to transition between degree pathways based on academic performance. State-of-the-art teaching laboratories and 24-hour accessible computer facilities with both Linux and Windows systems support all electrical and electronic engineering students.
Comprehensive career support services are provided to current students and remain available to graduates for three years post-completion. Our department maintains exceptional graduate employment statistics, with 90% of electrical and electronic engineering undergraduates securing professional positions or pursuing advanced studies (Graduate Outcomes 2023). The BEng/MEng in Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology not only opens doors to fulfilling career prospects but also presents a stimulating intellectual environment for groundbreaking research discoveries.
