In this program, you'll develop hands-on experience providing care for individuals aged 16 and above while building knowledge about health and illness in adult populations. Your initial year will cover core adult nursing subjects such as care principles, physical health sciences, and community health initiatives, establishing a strong base for your continued education. The second year focuses on chronic illness management and care transitions, including delivering difficult patient communications. You'll enhance your leadership and critical thinking abilities while exploring how psychological, spiritual, ethical, and legal factors shape patient care approaches. Half your training occurs in clinical environments like intensive care units, where you'll apply your skills under professional supervision.
