The BSc (Hons) Business Management and Spanish program equips you to become a skilled language professional while gaining insights into business operations across organizations of all scales. This program combines fundamental business concepts with extensive language practice opportunities. Students without A-level Spanish can begin with ab initio Spanish instruction, provided they show aptitude for language learning.
The first year establishes core business management foundations while developing Spanish skills for academic and workplace applications. From year two, you can choose from diverse electives including marketing, human resources, sociolinguistics, and translation studies. An international Professional Training placement offers practical business experience while allowing you to apply and refine your language skills in a professional context.

Required subjects: Spanish.
If you do not have Spanish at the required level but you have achieved GCSE grade A in a modern language OR you expect to achieve at least A-level grade B in a modern language, we can consider offering you a place in the Spanish ab initio group. Ab initio study will involve additional contact hours and intensive study of the language during the first year of the programme. Please be aware: English language would not be treated as a modern language.
Applicants taking an A-level science subject with the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass the practical element.
Please note: A-level General Studies and A-level Critical Thinking are not accepted.
GCSE or equivalent: English Language at Grade C(4) and Mathematics at Grade C (4) (or equivalent).
