Our pioneering BEng and MEng Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology programs enable you to apply advanced theoretical concepts to real-world engineering challenges. During your studies, you'll blend professional engineering competencies with scientific research techniques, preparing you for industrial careers. You'll have access to our Professional Training placement program, designed to equip students for positions across diverse technology sectors. Whether your passion lies in graphene applications or quantum engineering, our specialized BEng and MEng programs provide the expertise required for contemporary nanoscale device development. Additionally, you'll collaborate with researchers at our Advanced Technology Institute through hands-on projects.

You can choose between the BEng or MEng pathway. The MEng program expands on the BEng foundation with an additional master's year, offering a streamlined path to an advanced degree. Subject to academic performance, you may have the flexibility to transfer between BEng and MEng during your course. All electrical and electronic engineering students benefit from well-equipped teaching labs and 24-hour accessible computer facilities running Linux and Windows systems.

We provide comprehensive career support to current students, extending this service to alumni for three years post-graduation. A-level Overall BEng (Hons): ABB including Mathematics and one of: Physics, Electronics, Computing, Computer Science, Further Mathematics, Design and Technology (Systems and Control), Chemistry. Applicants taking the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass. MEng (Hons): AAB including Mathematics and one of: Physics, Electronics, Computing, Computer Science, Further Mathematics, Design and Technology (Systems and Control), Chemistry. If you are studying further mathematics then the offer would be reduced by one grade. Applicants taking the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass. BEng (Hons) with foundation year: CCC including mathematics C and either physics or chemistry, or equivalent. Applicants taking the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass. Please note: A-level General Studies and A-level Critical Thinking are not accepted. GCSE or equivalent: English Language at Grade C(4) and Mathematics at Grade C(4) (or equivalent). International Baccalaureate Overall BEng (Hons): 33 MEng: 34 Required subjects (for both BEng and MEng) Analysis and approaches HL5/SL6 or Applications and Interpretation HL5 and one of Chemistry, Computer Science, Further Mathematics or Physics at HL5/SL6.
