Our faculty includes full-time experts in French, Italian, Spanish, and Translation studies who provide exceptional guidance for your research projects. You'll join our vibrant Graduate School community, collaborating with fellow researchers from diverse academic fields. We offer one-year MPhil programs and three-year PhD opportunities. Research specializations include: French and Francophone West African culture (19th-20th century), Italian studies, Latin American studies, Spanish studies, Women's literature and readership, Modern history (with emphasis on WWII), Intellectual history, and Translation studies.
You normally require to have a first-class or upper second-class UK Honours degree, or overseas equivalent, in Spanish, French or Italian.
IELTS (Academic): 6.5 overall (no individual band less than 5.5)
TOEFL (ibt): 80 overall, with the following minimum scores in each component: Listening: 17 Reading: 18 Speaking: 20 Writing: 18.
