Our Master's program in Autonomous Robotic Intelligent Systems offers comprehensive training in autonomous technologies applicable across diverse fields.
This program concentrates on cutting-edge autonomous control and machine learning techniques, with practical uses in robotics, sensor networks, big data analysis, and autonomous systems. Special attention is given to subjects enabling the development of intelligent, self-sufficient devices for IoT, Ubiquitous Computing, and Industry 4.0 applications. The MSc is a collaborative effort between the Departments of Electronic & Electrical Engineering and Design, Manufacture & Engineering Management, giving students access to leading experts in machine learning, autonomous systems, digital manufacturing, and design engineering.
Program Structure
Students complete two semesters of required and elective courses, followed by a three-month research project in their selected specialization. There are opportunities to undertake this project through competitive industrial internships with departmental partners. These internships involve tackling actual engineering problems, with benefits including site visits, technical resources, and guidance from both industry professionals and academic advisors. Beyond foundational robotics, embedded systems, and control concepts, the curriculum covers system-level design approaches and advanced theories in emerging AI domains. Practical applications span autonomous vehicles, smart manufacturing, big data processing, IoT device development, and AI programming.
